KAHRAMANMARAŞ STATE HOSPITAL :: interior design

Designed in collaboration with Selda Gümüşdoğrayan Architecture, the new state hospital of Kahramanmaraş (Kahramanmaraş Şehir Hastanesi) stands out not only for its impressive scale but also for its thoughtfully curated interior design, which draws inspiration from the calming minimalism of Japandi style.

Earthy tones and soft pastel colors create a serene and human-centered environment, a refreshing departure from the typically sterile feel of institutional spaces.

Natural wood elements and clean architectural lines are balanced with subtle textures and gentle lighting, promoting tranquility throughout waiting areas, corridors, and patient rooms.

Strategically placed indoor trees bring a sense of life and connection to nature, enhancing patient and staff well-being.

Despite the ambitious interior design vision and scale, the interior design services were not compensated by the architecture firm, resulting in break of confidence, reliability and disappointment.
